It's time to train you- the owner.
This is a two-part intensive program designed to help average dog owners experience the results of a board and train program without ever having to leave their dog's side. Our professional trainers take you step-by-step through the entire training and rehabilitation process to help you train your own dog.

Our curriculum covers everything from foundational knowledge to advanced dog training skills. You’ll learn dog history, conditioning (classical and operant), proper equipment use, communication, sequencing, and both basic and advanced obedience.

We also cover key concepts like threshold work, drives, body language, e-collar use, crate training, and using play to address behavior issues. Additional topics include reliable commands, counterconditioning, and proper use of tools like muzzles, collars, and leashes, along with grooming basics.

The program emphasizes real-world application, including socialization, public training, leash handling, and setting up a structured home environment. You’ll also learn how to address common and complex behavioral issues such as fear, anxiety, aggression, reactivity, and more—giving you the skills to handle a wide range of training scenarios.

Owners will work hands-on with their dogs for 2+ hours each day.
Program Cost: $2,500.00
This includes one primary handler, one secondary handler if necessary, and one dog.
All participants must be 18 or older. Bringing your own dog is encouraged (one dog per participant), and no dogs will be provided. A 50% nonrefundable deposit is required to reserve your spot, with the remaining balance due 7 days before the program starts. The price does not include meals, lodging, or equipment. Dogs must stay with their owner/handler.
All dogs must be current on Rabies, Distemper, Parvo, and Bordetella, with a negative fecal test completed within 30 days of the program start. The fecal test must include Giardia (request from vet). If positive, this allows time for treatment and retesting.
Dogs must arrive on a well-fitting martingale collar and 6ft leash; equipment changes may be recommended after evaluation. Reactive or aggressive dogs must wear an approved muzzle (Baskerville, Jafco, Dean & Tyler, or Bumas). Owners must also bring toys, treats, food, a treat bag, and a 15ft long line.

This program builds on everything covered in Train the Owner 1.0, taking each concept to a deeper, more advanced level. You’ll develop a strong understanding of pack, prey, and defense drives: how they work, how to control and fulfill them, and how to use them effectively in training and behavior modification.

We also cover advanced play, e-collar application across drives, spatial pressure, and techniques like claiming territory to address issues such as reactivity and fence fighting. Additional topics include resource guarding, socialization, body language, advocacy, differential reinforcement, counterconditioning, and handling real-world scenarios like vet exams and grooming.

Students will work hands-on with their dogs for 4+ hours each day, building practical skills and real-world experience.
